About the Blacklist

The Blacklist Committee for Unsafe Theatre was founded in 2005 by Matt Jones, Scott Kettles and Sibel A.

The Blacklist Committee for Unsafe Theatre aims to disturb preconceived notions of the world by attacking political questions from unusual points of view.  This method sets itself in opposition to reductionist apolitical theatre that would ignore political realities as well as reductionist didactic political theatre.  We are interested in plumbing the depths of the contradictions of our time rather than attacking obvious targets and offering pat solutions.
